ACA STUDENT MEMBERSHIP OFFER - INSTRUCTIONS
Friends of Kern, Inc. is proud to be able to partner with the
American Camp Association (ACA) Ohio Section and make it possible for
qualified students who are or have been associated with YMCA Camp Kern
to receive a FREE Student Membership to ACA.
Follow the instructions below to take advantage of this offer:
- Verify the online information about your association with YMCA Camp Kern
by reviewing your entry in the
Alumni Index. If this information
is absent or incorrect, please fill out the
online Signup Form (no fee is required).
- Print an ACA membership application form [PDF] which can be found at:
http://www.acacamps.org/membership/membapp.pdf.
- Complete the ACA membership application form as follows:
- Individual Membership Information
- complete entire section.
- Camp Affiliation Information
- if you are still working or volunteering at Kern in any capacity,
enter 'YMCA Camp Kern' and the rest will be completed for you.
if not, leave blank.
- Individual Membership Rates
- check 'Student Member' and fill out
College/University Name, City, State if applicable.
NOTE: high school and grad students are also eligible for Student
Memberships.
- Elective Dues and Contributions
- if you would like to make a contribution, check the appropriate
box, and write a check for the total amount(s) made payable to
American Camp Association.
- Remittance
- LEAVE BLANK.

- Send your completed ACA membership application form (and check if you made an elective contribution) to:

Upon receipt of your application and verification of your student status
and your association with YMCA Camp Kern, Friends of Kern, Inc. will forward your
application to the ACA Ohio Section office along with a check for $17.50. The
ACA office will then add the remaining $17.50 from its Morrison Scholarships
program and forward your application
to the national ACA office for processing.
