KIM RICHEY BENEFIT CONCERT

Frequently Asked Questions
posted April 18, 2002

1. What is it?

A benefit concert given by Camp Kern Staff Alum Kim Richey to help raise money to make improvements at Camp Kern. Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Richey was on the Summer Staff from 1977 through 1979 and also worked in Outdoor Education one season. She is currently on tour promoting her fourth album which will be released later this summer. Even if you didn't know Kim from Kern, her concerts usually demonstrate her camp counselor skills well, with a quick wit and great sense of humor. She is very fond of her Kern years and is looking forward to connecting with camp friends, past and present.
2. When / Where is the event?
Concert will be held at Gilly's in downtown Dayton, Saturday, May 18th. Doors open at 8:00 PM with the show starting at 9:00 PM. Gilly's is located at 132 S. Jefferson St. (intersection of Jefferson and Fifth streets) next to the Dayton Convention Center parking garage.

The VIP Reception will be held at the home of Camp Kern Board Member John Neff (directions will be provided) from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Saturday, May 18th. John's home is only a few moments away from Gilly's.
5. How do I order tickets?
Beginning Monday, April 22nd, advanced tickets can be ordered by calling Loretta at Camp Kern at 1-800-255-KERN Ext. 13. Tickets & VIP Packages can be paid either with a credit card or by check. Camp Kern will mail tickets and directions (for VIP package purchasers) upon receipt of payment.
