How do I display/print a list of my patients who need flu shots this season?
- From the main "CHP Knowledgeman(c) Applications" menu, select:
E - Display/Print Primary Care Provider Lists/Reports
- At the User Login screen, enter your usual first name, last name,
and password.
- The first screen of an alphabetical numbered list of your current
patient assignments will
be displayed. At "--> Choice ({enter}/M/A/P/#/Q)?", type: P
(for Printouts)
- Scrolling numbers will count how many total patients are assigned to
you, followed by a menu titled "Select Task for the ### Individual(s)
Selected". Select:
J - Print Comprehensive Flu Shot Report
- You now have a choice of the order in which the patients can be listed:
by Name (alphabetical), Birthdate (oldest to youngest), or Birth Month
(all of January, then all of February, etc.). Select:
N or B or M depending on your preference.
- The message "compiling list ... hang on!" will be displayed as the
report is compiled.
- At the next message, "List All Pts. Whose LAST Flu Shot was Before:
{current date}, press ENTER to accept the {current date}.
- The report will then be generated and displayed on the screen, identifying
only those patients who need flu shots and reporting the dates that they
have received flu shots in the past.
- At the end of the report, make sure the appropriate printer is selected,
or type Q to abort the printing.
- At the menu titled "Select Task for the ### Individual(s) Selected",
select:
X - Exit and Go Back to Main Menu
- The first screen of an alphabetical numbered list of your current
patient assignments will reappear.
At "--> Choice ({enter}/M/A/P/#/Q)?", type: Q

How do patients of departing providers get reassigned to incoming/other
providers?
- From the main "CHP Knowledgeman(c) Applications" menu, select:
H - Database Maintenance / Uploading / Fix-it Tasks
- From the "CHP Database Maintenance/Uploading/Fix-it Tasks" menu, select:
E - Get a Provider's Patient List -> Perform Tasks
- At the User Login screen, enter the first name, last name,
and password of the departing provider whose patients need to be reassigned.
- The first screen of an alphabetical numbered list of the provider's
patient assignments will
be displayed. At "--> Choice ({enter}/M/A/P/#/Q)?", type: P
(for Printouts)
- Scrolling numbers will count how many total patients are assigned to
you, followed by a menu titled "Select Task for the ### Individual(s)
Selected". Select:
D - {Re}Assign Primary Care Provider
- After a "compiling list ... hang on" message appears, a prompt for the
name of a healthcare provider appears. Enter the name (last name first)
of the provider who will be assigned these patients, and press ENTER,
then choose the correct name from the list of displayed provider names.
- You now have a choice of verifying each change individually,
changing all automatically, or aborting the process. Select your choice
by typing the appropriate letter and pressing ENTER.
- After the assignments are made, the
menu titled "Select Task for the ### Individual(s) Selected",
reappears. Select:
X - Exit and Go Back to Main Menu
- The first screen of an alphabetical numbered list of the provider's
patient assignments will reappear.
At "--> Choice ({enter}/M/A/P/#/Q)?", type: Q
